Christmas didn't suck. Plus I napped for most of it.

Oh! Before I forget- the winner of the Never Hug A Nun giveaway? #3, SHANA! I will email you and get your info so you can get your freebie book.

So I'm clearly late to the Christmas post bandwagon, but just fuck off. I've been busy, yo. I also didn't get very many pictures and the ones I have aren't awesome, but it's what I've got so you're going to love it anyways.

We do Christmas Eve with Matt's parents, which I hosted this year, and Christmas Day with my family. My family were in Florida so it ended up just being us four and my brother. But here's Christmas Eve:
 My kids are freaking cute.
We opened up a bunch of stuff, but one of my favorite pictures is this one. You can't see well, but Matt is on the stairs with a Nerf gun shooting his brother Karl and Jackson is shooting back. Hilarious.
Olivia got the American Girl doll she's wanted for awhile now, Caroline, from Matt's parents. She still carries her around and we've already read book one.
Then they went to bed and Matt and set everything out. This is what $400 can get you if you stand out like an asshole on Gray Thursday/Black Friday.
Jackson kept saying, "This is the best! It's what I've always wanted!" after every single thing.
I so wish this came out better- she asked for this for WEEKS. It was a last minute, let's just get it for her, gift.
Oh you know it- the three story Barbie Dreamhouse. It was her favorite thing.
Uncle Travis even helped dress a few Barbies while Olivia and her Barbies were on a date.
Also cool was this super awesome hat my lovely friend Gini sent Jackson. Every day someone tells him how awesome his hat is.
Then Olivia got this super cute purple hat from Gini and she thought it was AMAZING that Gini knew she had a purple coat. Seriously lucky guess and she totally loves it. Thank you, Gini!!
Oh, and then Matt and Jackson did a bunch of Lego stuff. Well, mostly Matt did.

And I got a really, incredibly awesome goat hat from a blog follower. It didn't have a return address on it, the postage stamp was wet so I can't even tell where it was mailed from, and the card in it gave no name. But whoever you are, I want you to know I absolutely LOVE it and my kids think it's hilarious. I can't wait to go sledding and wear it!

Overall we had a really great Christmas. I ate a lot of candy and cookies all day, slept for hours while the kids played with all of their new stuff, ate some more cookies for dinner even though I cooked because ham is gross, and then went to bed early. It was weird not having my parents there but I'm glad they got to visit with family in Florida. Plus, it was nice hanging out with my brother and watching him play with the kids.

So there you go- Christmas wrap up DONE.

Awesome pics as usual. I really need to do one. I didn't take a lot of pics though.....which was weird.

I did get one of my sister with a hitler mustache doing a sieg heil.

Yeah we are freaks.

Olivia will be talking about that Barbie dream house until she's 24. Or maybe that's just me who still thinks about theirs still at 24.

Bomb. My Christmas consisted of early morning present unwrapping because my sister had to drive 4.5 hours back to her house Christmas day. We then ate whatever my mother threw together and I slept the rest of the day. Lately, holidays are just about getting sleep for me.
Does this mean I'm officially OLD? Probably. Shit.

I got a Barbie town house when I was 7 or 8. They weren't dream houses in the 70s. Barbie wasn't too popular that decade so her stuff was rather blah - a townhouse, a sportscar & a bubblebath. No adjectives. And she only came in bikini wearing Malibu style. But I still remember all of it. Looks like you all had a great christmas
